After a two year hiatus due to Covid-19, on October 12–13 in Paris, France, over 3,000 HR professionals, suppliers and industry experts came together at The Unleash World Expo. The event the leading HR Tech event, with an agenda designed to get us all thinking about what the future of HR looks like and how the roles of culture, people, innovation and of course technology will play in shaping this future.
Our conference week started at 7:30am on Day 1 where we welcomed over 28 representatives from Germany, UK, Denmark, Sweden and the Netherlands, as well as attendees from our Rockets program (the Rocket program is a one-year program awarded to star performers at Benify). After a short pep talk from our EVP, Chris Wakely, it was off to the races starting with meetings at our stand, members of the team attending talks and walking around the exhibition space to meet our peers.
Over the 2 days, we hosted over 60 face to face meetings at our stand, showed prospective clients the demonstration of our Saas Platform and attended over 30 talks hosted by experts in the HR field. In this way, we we’re able to reap innovative ideas, new ways of thinking, and plenty of learnings we have all taken home with us to put into action.

Sara Nordlöf, Head of Production Operations, said that the topics that were mentioned frequently were flexible work, technology, employer experience and the war for talent, as well as taking away some tips to improve our work environment and processes.
Daniel Glang, Sales Development Director, kept it simple by saying it was a great event where he was able to do done 20 pitches in 2 days, which normally would have taken 4 weeks.
Baman Motivala, CCO, noted from the talks and sessions he attended, that ‘Employee Engagement’ is the new buzz word that has become key in business success and therefore a priority for senior decision makers. We’ve seen this with our clients as well, employees are at their best when they are engaged. He also shared that a digital benefits and total reward strategy falls squarely into that category.
According to our EVP of International sales, Chris Wakely, there were a lot of discussions around employee engagement, which is what Benify’s platform and app is designed to promote — helping employees understand their benefits better…
… and on Day 1, Chris showed how this was achieved by doing a demonstration of our platform to a packed room. To highlight our communications engine, he showed how the platform can pre-, on-, and offboard employees (hire to retire) with ease, showcasing the opportunities for employers to make the right first to last impression.
On Day 2, our client, Iveco, hosted a presentation “Post Covid-19 why people should be your greatest investment” , whereby they discussed the benefits of implementing our HR platform. They shared that post implementation, they saw a 70% take up of benefits by employees without any new benefits being added — just better visibility and user experience. We are trilled to see these results and work with our clients to achieve better employee engagement and clear communication of their total rewards and benefits statement.
